SC lags the country in developing the professional class of the population

A major reason per capita income in South Carolina trails the national average is because South Carolina has a much lower percentage of high wage professionals as a percentage of our workforce. Training and retaining these professionals to drive economic impact in South Carolina is a key objective of CoEE 2.0.
